Greater Kingsport Kennel Club General meeting was called to order at 7:03 PM Monday, June 22, 2020 by President, Trudy Price via teleconference.

Members present were Andrew Moore, DeAnna Moore, Tom Kirstein, Pam Jones, Diane Bauman, Robert Potter, Michelle Kruger, Kendalyn Kruger, Jesse Kruger, Pierce Massey, Barbara-Salberg Richman, David Richman, Brenda Grable, Carrie Hodges, Trudy Price, Rhonda Gibbs, Ben Gibbs, Val Currier, Debbie Sullivan, Walter Crossly, Sherry Crossly and Julie Webster.

Guests present were Phyllis Portera, Greg Rodgers, Mitch Fishlowitz, Cherrie Fishlowitz, Elizabeth Jane Smith (tuffydukesmithii@yahoo.com), Peggy Kim (kimpeggy@aol.com) and Brooke Salyer.

Treasurer’s report approved as presented.

Pam Jones reported receiving the contract for May 2021 Conformation/Obedience show. No changes to be made to the contract for May 2021.

During the COVID-19 quarantine, the committee met via phone and e-mail to discuss nominations for the 2020 – 2021 board:

1-year board position – Darcy Kallus

Andrew Moore and Craig Kallus have 1 year remaining on their 2-year board term positions.

There were no nominations from the general membership via e-mail prior to June 17, 2020. Via the Teleconference, Andrew Moore made the 1^st motion that the new slate of officers be accepted by acclamation. David Richmond 2^nd the motion. The motion passed via the teleconference setting. The Board approved minutes and nominating committee.

New Business:

A donation of $500 for Second Harvest Food Bank of Tri-Cities, $500 donation to University of Tennessee Veterinary Medicine and $500 donation will be given to the AKC Humane Fund. Donations approved by 1^st motion Andrew Moore and 2^nd motion Pam Jones.
