GKKC General Meeting on 11/28/2016 at Appalachian Fairgrounds was called to order by Ben Gibbs, President, At 7:30 PM.

Members present were: Janice Pelletti, Dee Wildenstein, Sherry Crossley, Walter Crossley, Darlene Robbins, Glynis Littlewood, Darcy Kallus, Judy Pinkevich, Karen Riddle, Pierce Massey, Rhonda Gibbs, Ben Gibbs, Joe Currier, Val Currier, Kim Williams, Trudy Price, David Richman, Barbara Salberg-Richman, Pam Jones, Cindy Hintz, and Brenda Grable.

Visitors present were: Patrick Pelletti and Tom Jones.

Dr. Monica Marshall, and her husband Chip, gave a very informative presentation and demonstration on chiropractic care and it’s benefits for dogs.

October 24, 2016 general meeting minutes were approved as read.

Treasurer’s report was accepted and approved as presented.

The show chair gave a committee report on the May show. A volunteer is needed to coordinate the reservations and fees for the air conditioned grooming areas.

The trophy chair gave a report and trophy donations are due by 12/2/16.

All check signors (President, both Vice Presidents, and Treasurer) are bonded with State Farm effective 10/28/2016 – 10/28/2017 for $287.00.

The standing rules committee has met and will have recommendations at a future date.

Karen Riddle made a motion to have all approved minutes emailed to the newsletter editor. Glynis Littlewood seconded the motion and it passed.

The show vet for the May show was discussed. Judy Pinkevich made a motion to rescind standing rule #9 which says $200.00 will be budgeted for the vet at our spring show. Darcy Kallus seconded the motion and it was approved.

Meeting was adjourned at 8:50 PM.
