GKKC General Meeting on February 28, 2022, at Appalachian Fairgrounds was called to order by Trudy Price, President, at 6:28 PM.

Members present were: Michelle Kruger, Kendalyn Kruger, Judy Pinkevich, Pierce Massey, Rhonda Gibbs, Ben Gibbs, Joe Currier, Val Currier, Kim Williams, Trudy Price, David Richman, Barbara Salberg-Richman, Carrie Hodges, Brenda Grable, Tom Kirstein, Andrew Moore, Sheila Leonard, Pam Miller, Julie Webster, Kristy Jones, Ray Jones, and Sherry Crossley.

Guests present were Dannie Lee, Karen Smith (rebelpride@chartertn.net), Brian King (bmking31@comcast.net), Diane Sobel-Meyer(Dsobelmeyer@gmail.com), Jean Ponstingle (Jeanp27@outlook.com), and Robert Edwards (Robertedwards48@gmail.com).

December 8, 2021, general meeting minutes were read and approved as presented.

Treasurer’s report was accepted and approved as presented.

Corresponding Secretary Barbara Salberg-Richman discussed current changes to AKC rules.

The potluck originally scheduled for March will now be in April for this year. The Club will provide pizza and drinks. Members may bring desserts.

Discussion of May show concerning Rally and Obedience on Friday, Conformation and FASTCAT which will be held on Saturday and Sunday. Freddy’s Frozen Custard will be available on Saturday.

There was discussion of membership dues which will be due for June and the nominating committee for upcoming positions.

Brian King’s application was read for the first time.

Membership applications were voted unanimously for Pam McDonald, Dannie Lee and Cora Thomas, and Karen Smith.

Meeting was adjourned at 6:51PM.
