January 2015 Board Minutes for Greater Kingsport Kennel Club

The Greater Kingsport Kennel Club met on Monday, January 26, 2015, at the Appalachian Fairgrounds.

Elaine Taylor, President, called the meeting to order at 6:40 PM.

Board members present were Elaine Taylor, Glynnis Littlewood, Gayle Green, Darlene Robbins, Cindy Hintz, Tom Kirstein, Trudy Price, and Ben Gibbs.

Walt Sommerfelt, President of Tennessee Valley Kennel Club, gave us info on the advantages of our club joining Tennessee Valley for a cluster show in Knoxville.  His presentation lasted about 35 minutes.

Our club had voted in the past that our club members did not want to cluster with Tennessee Valley and lose our May show date at the Appalachian Fairgrounds.

Elaine Taylor will call Walt Sommerfelt and advise him our club does not want to join a cluster.

The November minutes were read and approved.
