The Greater Kingsport Kennel Club met on June 23, 2014 at the Appalachian Fair Grounds.
The meeting was called to order by President Cindy Hintz at 7:32 pm.
Members present were Cindy Hintz Glynis Littlewood, Dee Wildenstein, Tom Kirstein,
Gayle Green, Judy Pinkevich, Elaine Taylor, Trudy Price, Mary Sparks, Darlene Robbins, Floy Dawson, George Dawson,
Rhonda Gibbs, Ben Gibbs, Brenda Grable, Kim Williams Karen Riddle, Janice Pelletti, Vanne Rogers, Angie Crabtree,
Karen Cole Sally Walsh, Tammy S. Taylor, Garry J. Elliott, Judy Grindstaff, and Charlotte Ryan.
Guests present were Stephanie Shular, Kristy Jones, and Ray Jones.
The minutes for the May 26, 2014 General meeting were read, and approved.
Gayle Green gave each member a Balance Sheet as of June 23, 204. A request for refund for the charge by Appalachian
Fair Grounds for water will be made. This is on page 1 of the Balance Sheet. The financial report was approved and
filed for audit.
Glynis Littlewood reported an email for the club from MBF has been sent to all the exhibitors for the May show. Glynis
Littlewood reported AKC has asked for the return of five ribbons from exhibitors for ineligibility in the classes entered.
Darlene Robbins announced plans for the annual picnic to be held at The Eastman Park Shelter 4 on July 11, 2014 at
6:30 pm. A sign-up sheet for the picnic was circulated. A Member Interest Survey was given to each member to
complete for interest in jobs for the club. There are to be completed and given to Elaine Taylor, new President.
Darlene Robbins presented the nominations for officers for 2014-2015:
President—Elaine Tayor; 1st Vice President—Glynis Littlewood; 2nd Vice President—Dee Wildenstein; Treasurer—
Gayle Green; Recording Secretary-None; Corresponding Secretary—Rhonda Gibbs; 1 Year Board Position –Cindy
Hintz (Past President); 2 Year Board Positions—Darlene Robbins, Judy Grindstaff, and Vanne Rogers
All unopposed Board positions were approved by acclamation. The 2 Year Board positions will be filled by Darlene
Robbins and Vanne Rogers. (Club Vote) Karen Riddle made a motion to give Charles Richmond a framed Best In
Show picture. Our May show was dedicated to Charles’ Mother, Mary Richmond.
Announcements:
Members of the club were asked to send nominations for The Sportsmanship Award to Cindy Hintz or Elaine Taylor.
Dues are due. Fun Fest Dog show will be held June 14, 2014 in Kingsport . Please contact Charlie or Jan Le Blanc if
you are available to assist.

Mary Sparks— Ch. Goodie, Border Collie, finished her Advanced Rally Title and Graduated Novice Title in Fletcher, NC.
Dock Diving Awards
Judy Pinkevich’s Karma placed 1st in class in the Jr. Division and 4th in Finals.
Judy Pinkevich’s Raisin placed 2nd in Novice Division and 3rd in Finals
Trudy Price’s Folly placed 1st in Novice Division and 4th in Finals.
Kim Williams’ Tucker placed 2nd in Jr. Division and 5th in Finals.
Gayle Green—Hat Trick TN White Lightning, Shine, placed 1st in Beginner Novice in Waynesville to finish his Beginner
Novice Title. His mother, Gayle was very impressed with the hand thrown pottery bowl he won for her.
Charlotte Ryan—Rodon’s Real McCoy, Lucy, was Winners at Charlottesville , VA , under Judge Jon Cole for 1 point.
Lucy also placed Winners and Best of Winners at Fletcher, NC, under Judge Debra Fowler for 2 points.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:19 pm.
