GKKC General Meeting on 03/28/2022 at Appalachian Fairgrounds was called to order by Trudy Price, President, at 6:30 PM.

Members present were: Judy Pinkevich, Debbie Sullivan, Kim Williams, Trudy Price, David Richman, Barbara Salberg-Richman, Dannie Lee, Sheila Leonard, Sandy Alexander, Karen Smith, Tom Kirstein, Julie Webster, Pam Jones, Pamela Bradbury, Kristy Jones, Ray Jones, Andrew Moore, Carrie Hodges, JoAnn Marques, and Joe Marques.

Visitors present were: Brian King

February 28, 2022, general meeting minutes were read and approved as presented.

Treasurer’s report was accepted and approved as presented.

Barbara Salberg-Richman mentioned the position of AKC Junior Coordinator. Also, the GKKC Potluck will be scheduled for April 25, 2022, pizza and drinks will be provided by the Club.

May show committee chair reported there have been changes to the judge line-up for Obedience and Conformation. Pam Jones is looking for a volunteer to assist in shuttling judge from airport to hotel on Friday 5/20. Additionally, there is a need for volunteers for obedience and rally, please contact Brenda Grable or Rhonda Gibbs if you can assist with this need.

Judy Pinkevich mentioned the running of FAST CAT at the Appalachian Fairgrounds on Saturday(5/21) and Sunday(5/22) during the May Confirmation show.

The membership application was read for the second time for Brian King.

The 2022-23 Officer Committee will be led by Rhonda Gibbs.

Membership dues are due in June and can be sent to the GKKC PO Box.
