Greater Kingsport Kennel Club Board meeting was held on January 23, 2023, at Gray Community Center in Gray and called to order at 5:53 PM by President, Ben Gibbs.

Board members present Ben Gibbs, Rhonda Gibbs, Brenda Grable, David Richman, Barbara Salberg-Richman, and Kim Williams.  Judy Pinkevich also in attendance to discuss Fast Cat.

Meeting minutes from November were approved as presented.

The treasurer’s report was approved as presented.

David Richman discussed a notice from AKC regarding the Political Action Committee and the fact that donations are not tax deductible.

Judy presented information regarding Fast Cat’ to be held in 2023.  She will have 2 tests each day May 20th and 21st, and October 19-22.

Kim Williams reported the audit of the financials is complete for 7/1/21-6/30/22 and no issues were noted.

Rhonda responded to the Facebook message from the person over the Pet Expo at Meadowview Convention Center that we can’t move the location of our May show.  He was invited to come to the January 2023 general meeting but didn’t respond.
