The Greater Kingsport Kennel Club General meeting was held on July 24, 2023, at the Gray Community Chest and President, Andrew Moore, called the meeting to order at 6:41 PM.

Members present were: Diane Bauman, Rhonda Gibbs, Ben Gibbs, Kim Williams, David Richman, Barbara Salberg-Richman, Brenda Grable, Katie Smiley, Sandy Alexander, Pam McDonald, Karen Smith, Pamela Bradbury, Judy Pinkevich, Glynis Littlewood, Robert Edmonds, Tom Kirstein, Joy Ellis, Pierce Massey, Dannie Lee, Pam Miller, Pam Jones, Andrew Moore, DeAnna Moore, Donna Hamm, Joe Currier, Val Currier, Carrie Kruska and Karen Dooley.

Visitors present were: Jeff Kruska, Lauren Smith (laurenmikealSmith@gmail.com), Laura Simonelli (sheltie8@yahoo.com), Nancy Andrusiak (tsolpk@aol.com) and Curt Zeiger.

Treasurer’s report was read and accepted as presented by Karen Dooley.

The June general meeting minutes were read by Carrie Kruska and approved as read.

Tom Kirstein suggests assessing the judge selection committee and addressing the following: increase number of individuals on judge selection committee, further look at timing of show due to conflict of regional shows, and judges hired for shows must be a committee agreement.

The Agility Chairperson is Kate Smiley.
