Greater Kingsport Kennel Club Board meeting was held on February 27, 2023, at the Gray Community Chest and called to order at 5:48 PM by President, Ben Gibbs.

Board members present were Ben Gibbs, Rhonda Gibbs, Katie Smiley, Brenda Grable, Carrie Kruska, Andrew Moore, Barbara-Salberg Richman, and David Richman

The treasurer’s report was approved as presented. Discussion of price increases on trophies, ribbons and judge fees.

The 2023-2024 nominating committee will be made up of the following members:

Rhonda Gibbs – chairperson

Sheila Leonard

Brian King

Judy Pinkevich – alternate

Pierce Massey – alternate

Discussion of the GKKC Storage Facility. Our current storage shed has a leak and has also been broken into numerous times. The current price is $70 for 11 months. Also, Brenda Grable discussed foldable signs for GKKC use at events.

Membership applications were read to the Board Members for review which included Beth Kortze and Robert Edmonds These applications were approved by the Board Members for voting with the General membership.

The meeting was adjourned at 6:17 PM.
