GKKC General Meeting on 07/24/2017 at Eastman Shelter 28 at Bays Mountain was called to order by Ben Gibbs, President, at 7:30 PM.

Members present were: Rhonda Gibbs, Ben Gibbs, Kim Williams, Trudy Price, David Richman, Barbara Salberg-Richman, Glynis Littlewood, Judy Pinkevich, Pierce Massey, Sheila Leonard, Valda Currier, Joe Currier, Cindy Hintz, and Tammy Taylor.

Visitors present were: Katie Smiley, Carrie Hodges, and Lyn Hyman.

June 26, 2017 general meeting minutes were read and approved as presented.

Treasurer’s report was accepted as presented after a brief discussion of a few line items.

David Richman and Barbara Salberg-Richman were applauded for the great food and organizing the picnic. Trudy Price was applauded for securing a nice Eastman shelter.

The May 2018 obedience show was discussed in detail and it was determined that we will pursue investigating having two shows on Friday indoors. AKC was contacted and said there would be no issue having 2 shows on the same day. MB-F, Inc. was contacted and estimated their price increase for moving the obedience show to Friday would probably be between $1,000 to $1,600.

Paul and Janet Schneider’s applications were read for the first time.

Meeting was adjourned at 7:56 PM
