GKKC General Meeting on 03/26/2018 at Appalachian Fairgrounds was called to order by Ben Gibbs, President, at 7:00 PM.

Members present were: Judy Pinkevich, Pierce Massey, Rhonda Gibbs, Ben Gibbs, Joe Currier, Val Currier, Kim Williams, Trudy Price, David Richman, Barbara Salberg-Richman, Cindy Hintz, Brenda Grable, Tom Kirstein, Walter Crossley, Sherry Crossley, Julie Webster, Pam Jones, Dee Wildenstein, Darlene Robbins, JoAnn Marques, Patrick Pelletti, Janice Pelletti, and Mary Sparks.

Barbara Salberg Richman and David Richman were thanked for organizing the potluck dinner.

February 26, 2018 general meeting minutes were read and approved as presented.

Treasurer’s report was accepted and approved as presented.

May show committee reported the premium has been approved by AKC and is at the printers. JoAnn Marques is looking for a volunteer to take coolers to the conformation judges on Saturday and Sunday at 7:00 AM.

Agility show chair reported the agility application is approved by AKC. There will be a professional dirt groomer, Mike Padgett, at the agility trial to instruct the Walter State facility workers and GKKC members on what works best for dogs.

The Fun Fest Dog show in July was discussed. Rhonda will contact Jan and Charlie LeBlanc to see if they plan on organizing it this year.
