Greater Kingsport Kennel Club Board Meeting was called to order at 5:30 PM Monday, November 28, 2022, by President Ben Gibbs at Borden Park.

Board members present David Richman, Andrew Moore, Carrie Kruska, Ben Gibbs, Rhonda Gibbs, Michelle Kruger, Katie Smiley, and Brenda Grable.

The August board minutes were read and approved.

The results of the agility trial that was held in October was discussed.  There was a loss of approximately $1K due to less entries and expenses being greater.  A new location in Bulls Gap, TN is being reviewed for the 2023 agility trial.  Katie Smiley will email AKC and see if sponsors are permissible.

The potential scholarship for vet students was discussed and more research is being done before it is brought before the club again.

Treasurer’s report was approved as presented.

The meeting location was discussed, and it was agreed that the Gray Community Chest would be used for the January and February meetings, since we are having issues booking a building at the fairgrounds.

Meeting was adjourned at 6:20 PM.
