Greater Kingsport Kennel Club General Meeting held, Monday, November 27, 2023, at the Gray Community Chest, was called to order at 6:32 PM by Vice-President, Ben Gibbs.
Members present were: Rhonda Gibbs, Ben Gibbs, Kim Williams, Brian King, Debbie Sullivan, Karen Dooley, Andrew Moore, David Richman, Barbara Salberg-Richman, Brenda Grable, Pam Jones, Judy Pinkevich, Carrie Kruska, Beth Kortze, Julie Webster, Katie Smiley and Karen Smith.
Visitors present were: Anastasia Billings, Debrarah Billings, Teri Wieckhurst, John Wieckhurst, Curt Zeiger, Lorrie Geyer-Limitone, Randy Limitone, and Myra Nelson.
General meeting minutes from October 2023 were read and approved.
Treasurer’s report was accepted and approved as presented.
David Richman presented letters of Thank You from the UTVCM students who received the scholarship money from GKKC and current update on the ongoing presence of the Upper Respiratory Canine Illness.
Update on participating in the Kingsport Christmas Parade, there was not enough interest to represent GKKC in the Christmas Parade.
Discussion of trophy donations by December 1st per Show Chairman Pam Jones.
2nd reading of the membership application for Teresa Salyer.
Discussion of recent Scentwork trial which was held on November 11 and 12.
Our next club meeting will be December 6th, 2023, at the Chop House in Kingsport for the annual Christmas Party.
Meeting was adjourned at 6:56 PM.
