Greater Kingsport Kennel Club Board meeting was held on September 25, 2023, at the Gray Community Chest in Gray and called to order at 5:30 PM by President, Andrew Moore.

Board members present were Andrew Moore, Carrie Kruska, Rhonda Gibbs, Karen Dooley, David Richman, Barbara Salberg-Richman, Julie Webster, and Brian King.

Judges committee members present were Tom Kirstein, Karen Riddle, Debbie Sullivan, and Pam Jones.

Andrew made a motion to waive reading of prior board minutes and financial reports.  Seconded by Rhonda and motion passed.

The judges committee members are as follows:  Pam Jones chairperson, Debbie Sullivan secretary, and members are Tom Kirstein, Karen Riddle, and Sandy Alexander.  The committee meets a couple of times a year to discuss conformation judges to be hired and they also email one another.  The judges for 2024 have been hired and there may be a few hired for 2025.  The committee agreed to communicate by responding to all emails.  Any issues are to be brought to the attention of the board in the future.

Andrew made a motion to look at new storage facilities because our current unit is still leaking.  David seconded the motion and it passed.
