Board Meeting was called to order at 6:12pm by President Diane Bauman on September 23, 2024, at the Gray Community Chest.

The August Board meeting at Poblano’s in Boones Creek Minutes were read and approved.

Members present were Brian King, Joy Ellis, Brooke Salyer, Donna Hamm, Julie Webster, Carrie Kruska, and Diane Bauman.

Discussion of the GKKC Website to equip the website to be mobile friendly as GKKC Members may not have access to a laptop/desktop for viewing. Also, GKKC Members have access to protected information via password that is distributed to members once they are approved and voted on. This communication of the password was discussed as Brenda Grable spoke with Karen Dooley directly concerning the transfer of the information to the new members. This motion was made by Joy Ellis and 2nd by Brian King. The treasurer reports the payment of the yearly Board Liability Insurance.

Additionally, we discussed the by-laws concerning membership requirements that have not been updated on the GKKC website. The board spoke concerning who has official access to the GKKC website and uploading information would currently be granted to Rhonda Gibbs and we spoke concerning the change of website access to Julie Webster. Julie Webster is to speak with Rhonda Gibbs at the Agility Leage event later in the week. Updates to be concerned at the next Board meeting.

GKKC Treasurer reports current access to bank signatures are Brenda Grable, Karen Dooley, Andrew Moore, Barbara Salberg-Richman, and Ben Gibbs. Board discussed the GKKC president should be on the account to view financials.

AKC will assist with marketing communication, and this can be used by the Club Marketing Committee.

Board reports Dannie Lee has completed her AKC online course to enable her to work with minors/Juniors within the GKKC.

The board discussed the proposed Committee Guidelines and Board would like to have a meeting to discuss as well as invite the GKKC General Membership to view proposed guidelines in the future.
